Welcome to 2025!

Happy New Year!

I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season. Full of family, friends, and pies.

December was a time of catching up at Science for Georgia. We said goodbye to our fabulous interns who produced such amazing work as information about Cumulative Impacts, Carbon Capture and Storage, and advocacy information about Rural Outreach. We’ve got great data stories around Power Usage and South DeKalb.

We are looking forward to an impactful 2025! We will be creating and expanding our data stories. We will be hosting the 4th annual Environmental Justice and Climate Protection Conference (submit proposals for talks, unposters, and youth showcase!), multiple Jazz Hands, and our monthly Georgia Science Junctions and Climate Survival Trainings.

Get started on your 2025 journey today:

Jan 9 – Monthly Membership Meeting (online)
Jan 11 – DIY Worm Farming
Jan 19 – Water Testing
Jan 23 – Science Trivia Night

We look forward to your participation.

Thank you to everyone who donated to our winter campaign. Every contribution makes a huge difference. Thank you to everyone who read all our emails!

Onward and upward to Myth Busting in 2025!
