Today is a great day. I have four PowerPoint-heavy Zoom calls!" — No One Ever

Although we can’t eliminate PowerPoint, we can help you improve your technical and scientific communication skills. Research shows that storytelling and humor are effective ways to connect with audiences and get your message across. It’s tempting to communicate science and technical content with data and facts, but to help someone get engaged with a topic you need a compelling narrative and an emotional connection.

Humor Me! teaches you how to make that happen. We combine Science for Georgia’s unique experience with science and technology communication workshops, as well as with the training of science and technology comedy performers, to create a perfectly balanced technical communication professional development workshop which is also fun and entertaining.

Students of Humor Me will learn how to craft messages that are:

  • Relevant
  • Concise
  • Actionable
  • . . . And funny!

Learn how to create and polish jokes and develop a personalized delivery style that enhances your ability to tell a story, connect to your audience, and meet those KPIs!
