July was a low-key month after our action-packed June.
As luck would have it – we had a fantastic Georgia Science Junction from Mark Alberton, the photographer and documentarian that filmed Sacred Waters: The Okefenokee in Peril only a few days before the Okefenokee was names a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Michael hosted a delightful growers chat at our Climate Survival Training.
We are also bidding a fond farewell to our fantastic summer interns. A huge thank you to Seymone, Jonathan, Charlie, Mikey, Virginia, Rachel, Margaret, Gallila, Hannah, Jeniyah, Emily, and Sam. They helped us to promote and host a fantastic EJ&CP Conference, spoke at a GSJ, and created content around everything from vaccines, wood sound barriers, solar power, legislative overviews, data centers, and more. We cannot wait to share their content over the coming months!
It is always such a joy to work with our interns. They provide a fresh perspective, boundless enthusiasm, and teach us plenty about ourselves. We wish them the best of luck – several already have amazing jobs lined up and the rest will return to crushing it in school!
As we head into August and back to school – we are excited about the last few months of the year.
