Capitol Conservation Day
We had one of the biggest crowds for Capitol Conservation Day in 2025! Let’s make 2026 even bigger.
The Georgia Water Coalition holds this event at the Georgia State Capitol each year. We gather for a continental breakfast, orientation, and issue briefings at the Central Presbyterian Church. Then we walk across the street to the Capitol for a group photograph and to meet with legislators about timely water legislation.
Agenda:
8 – 9:45 AM: Check in at Central Presbyterian Church, 201 Washington Street SW, Atlanta, GA 30303, Continental breakfast will be provided, guest speakers, issue briefing, and training
10 AM: Group photograph at the Capitol
10:15 AM – 3 PM: Meet with legislators
11 AM – 3 PM: Please stop our designated room to debrief on your conversations before leaving. We need this information to inform our legislative strategy. If you aren’t able to catch us, however, we will provide you with an online form for debrief reports.
