Today is a great day. I have four PowerPoint-heavy Zoom calls!" — No One Ever

Although we can’t eliminate PowerPoint, we can help you improve your technical and scientific communication skills with humor by helping you be:

  • Relevant
  • Concise
  • Actionable
  • . . . And funny!

When used carefully, humor can improve your communication and presentation skills. Learn how to create and polish jokes and develop a personalized delivery style that enhances your ability to tell a story, connect to your audience and meet those KPIs!

What You Learn

  • Identifying audience relevance
  • Succinct communication of technical topics
  • Storytelling
  • Comedy and improv techniques to improve communication and presentations

Why Storytelling and Humor?

Science has shown that a story is a great way to connect with your audience and make your message more memorable. Our brains are hard-wired to remember narratives, and our eyes are programmed to roll back in our heads when data is spewed forth. Humor and improv are great techniques for embracing your awkwardness and breaking down communication barriers.
