Comedy is a way to break down barriers and humanize science. And they have a lot in common.
Daniel Hwang said it best. “All we’re doing as scientists and comedians is just experimenting.” Scientists test a hypothesis; comedians try out jokes. “Ultimately, what science and comedy do is give us a means to understand how the world works.”
