It’s not a joke – Jazz Hands on WABE

Its no joke – Science for Georgia’s Jazz Hands was featured on the front page of WABE on Apr 1, 2025.

Thank you to Molly Samuel for writing such a great article and Matthew Pearson for making our comedians look so lovely.

Comedy is a way to break down barriers and humanize science. And they have a lot in common.

Daniel Hwang said it best. “All we’re doing as scientists and comedians is just experimenting.” Scientists test a hypothesis; comedians try out jokes. “Ultimately, what science and comedy do is give us a means to understand how the world works.”
