Envisioning Wild Hope in Georgia

On Mar 28, 2024, Science for Goergia hosted an event in partnership with the Fruitful Community Foundation and Georgia Public Broadcasting focused on captivating stories and community engagement.

Fruitful Communities participated in a panel discussion about their work in Georgia. GPB debuted an episode of Wild Hope featuring Fruitful Communities. Dr. Amy Sharma rounded out the evening by talking about effective advocacy techniques to create change.

The Fruitful Community Foundation educates and empowers eco-advocate leaders, landscapers, and lawmakers to transform public spaces into vibrant climate-resilient ecosystems. Our outreach programs foster hope by training the next generation of land stewards, who learn to convert resource intensive green spaces into productive, fruitful landscapes.
