After the madness of March, you’d think we’d slow down – but we just can’t stop the science!
We had THREE Earth Day Events. We tabled at the Center for Black Women’s Wellness, discussed what to Expect When Expecting Climate Change, and rounded it out with a Science Tavern about Composting.
Thank you to everyone for making April a success.
Now for something serious – we are in the midst of our Spring Fundraiser Sips for Science and we need your support.
Thus far in 2023 we have inspired two literacy bills (that passed!) supporting the science of reading, wrote multiple science memos, given several remarks before the General Assembly, taught four SciComm Academies, and hosted multiple Atlanta Science Festival Events, trash clean ups, and climate survival trainings. We’ve reached hundreds of Georgians!
And we won’t stop! We’ve got an SIX summer interns, an Environmental Justice & Climate Protection conference, Sci.Tober Fest, SciComm classes, science taverns, climate survival, and university/college ambassadors.
You can donate in two ways – direct support or buying some wine. Thank you to Liz Love and ONEHOPE WINE for supporting us.
Thank you for all that you do to make Science Matter Here!
