I mean, we could say something pithy and alliterative, but really, August was hot.
But it was not lazy!
Thank you to everyone who has participated in our Scavenger Hunt to the Sea. It’s not too late to check out the amazing stops from our partners and to register to win $250 from REI. The hunt has been extended to Sept 30th!
We had an amazing Legislative RoundUp where we discussed what happened during the Georgia General Assembly. More importantly, we gathered input from YOU to guide impact in the coming year. Read about it here and then tell us what you think!
We had an informative Atlanta Science Tavern from our friends at Citizens Climate Change and their EnRoads Climate Simulator. Check out the Simulator to learn what will have the biggest impact on reducing climate change.
Now that summer is over (according to the US Calendar, but not the sun or the weather) – Science for Georgia is looking forward to a productive fall. We have some amazing events coming up (including my favorite – Sci.Tober Fest). We will analyze what our partners and community cares about to write our 2023 legislative outreach plan.
As always – we couldn’t do any of this without your help. We appreciate your support.
