Georgia 2026 Virtual Community Organizing Summit – Community Mapping
Hosted by our friends at Community Action Works, Community Leaders, Experts, and Grassroots Organizations, the Virtual Grassroots Organizing Summit is centered around the proliferation of data centers and cryptomines in Georgia.
You can RSVP to attend at this link here to join community groups to share organizing experiences, meet with other community activists, attend issue briefings, and get help organizing your own community.
This is a set of trainings during the month of Sept, and when you RSVP you can indicate the trainings you would like to attend. Also – all will be recorded so that you can catch up on anything you missed.

During the virtual summit, focus and goals are threefold:
- Share organizing stories and creative ideas. Hearing how other communities and organizations have approached and organized against an environmental threat can be extremely helpful. It can give you ideas on how you can approach a similar issue in your campus, or your neighborhood. It can also be quite inspiring and give everyone a boost they need to keep persevering and organizing to help protect our communities.
- Learn about some of the biggest issues facing our communities. You will have the opportunity to attend briefings and workshops on issues such as the harms of AI data centers and crypto-mines on communities, permitting, local town structures and more!
- Get the help you need to effectively organize your own community. Attend virtual workshops around various critical organizing skills to help you build your group to take on powerful special interests to create greener and healthier communities!
