DESCRIPTION:Capitol Conservation Day\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe had one of the biggest crowds for Capitol Conservation Day in 2025! Let’s make 2026 even bigger. \nThe Georgia Water Coalition holds this event at the Georgia State Capitol each year. We gather for a continental breakfast\, orientation\, and issue briefings at the Central Presbyterian Church. Then we walk across the street to the Capitol for a group photograph and to meet with legislators about timely water legislation. \nLearn more and register here. \nAgenda:\n8 – 9:45 AM: Check in at Central Presbyterian Church\, 201 Washington Street SW\, Atlanta\, GA 30303\, Continental breakfast will be provided\, guest speakers\, issue briefing\, and training \n10 AM: Group photograph at the Capitol \n10:15 AM – 3 PM: Meet with legislators \n11 AM – 3 PM: Please stop our designated room to debrief on your conversations before leaving. We need this information to inform our legislative strategy. If you aren’t able to catch us\, however\, we will provide you with an online form for debrief reports. \nMake the most of your day by planning ahead! \nSet up a meeting with your legislator ahead of time. To make the most of your time\, we recommend that you request a specific meeting with your legislators. We will provide more information soon to help you set up a meeting. \nBring your photo ID. You must show your photo ID to enter the Capitol building.
