15 Minutes of Reading a Day Can Save a Child's Life

Language proficiency at age 5 is the best indicator of reading proficiency at age 7. Reading proficiency at age 7 is the best indicator of high school graduation. This is regardless of poverty or parental education status.

It all begins with 15 minutes of reading a day, starting at age 6 months.

Book Recipients

Through a partnership with Reach Out and Read Georgia and Fulton County Library System - the books donated will be delivered to children in ten counties throughout Georgia.

Reach Out and Read's programming educates parents and caregivers on the importance of daily reading providing books and resources during well-child check-ups.
