SUMMARY:ASF: #SpeakUpForScience
DESCRIPTION:What do we want? Democracy!\nWhen do we want it? Now!\nBut how do we get there? Speaking with your legislators is a perfect example of democracy in action. They can only serve community needs if they know what you care about. If science is what you care about\, log in for this online session with Science for Georgia and learn how to effectively share your opinion with your legislator. Then come see our booth at the Exploration Expo to learn more about how you can get involved! \nAtlanta Science Festival event ticketing opens January 25th! \nSign up and get the Zoom link here.

SUMMARY:ASF: A Scoop of Science
DESCRIPTION:  \nA Scoop of Science is SOLD OUT! Thank you for your support! See you on the 16th! \nWe all scream for ice cream! But have you ever really thought about what it is? A liquid? A solid? A glass? Ice cream has more in common with toothpaste\, froth\, and glass than you might expect. Join physicists Daniel Sussman and Michael Czajkowski for an exploration of the physics of disordered solids\, and answers to the questions you never knew to ask about ice cream. We promise the only brain freeze will come from the ice cream\, not from the science! \nAtlanta Science Festival ticketing opens January 25th! \nGet your tickets here!
