SUMMARY:Rally: Stand Up for Science National Day of Action
DESCRIPTION:Time\n\n\nSaturday\, March 7\n3 – 4pm EDT\n\nLocation\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCorner of Ralph McGill and Garden Park\nAtlanta\, GA 30312 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n     \n\n  \nOne year after the movement-defining Stand Up For Science protest\, organizers are returning to the streets on SATURDAY MARCH 7th\, 2026 to save science\, protect health\, and defend democracy! We’re demanding a return to well funded\, scientifically sound\, research and public health programming that is free from political interference. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccessibility\n\nMainly flat ground\nNo stairs or steps

SUMMARY:Monthly South River Water Testing - March
DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday\, March 15\, 2026 \nTime: 10 am \nLocation: Everett Park \nAddress: 5106 Klondike Rd\, Stonecrest\, GA 30038 \nWe will linger in the parking lot for 5-10 minutes before heading down the trail along the water to those first shoals\, where we will be doing our testing and mingling etc…. \nAt our Environmental Justice Forums/Townhalls we heard that people want to know more about what health risks from water and air are in their neighborhoods. So we have started on two approaches to that. First is the water testing project mentioned above. Adopt-A-Stream is a state program consisting of volunteers collecting data on the water sources in their neighborhoods and the area around Everett Park along the South River is not represented in this testing project. So we are getting this started\, not just to gather and monitor data\, but to help the community learn about water testing along the way.

SUMMARY:Monthly South River Water Testing
DESCRIPTION:Third Sunday of every month \nTime: 10 am \nLocation: Everett Park \nAddress: 5106 Klondike Rd\, Stonecrest\, GA 30038 \nWe will linger in the parking lot for 5-10 minutes before heading down the trail along the water to those first shoals\, where we will be doing our testing and mingling etc….
