DESCRIPTION:Location – Yellow River Park\n3232 Juhan Road\, Stone Mountain\, GA 30087 \n  \nThe 10th annual Yellow River Trash Bash hosted by the Yellow River Water Trail\, Gwinnett Parks & Recreation\, Gwinnett Department of Water Resources\, and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful! We look forward to making an impact across the watershed with your volunteer help. All volunteers will meet at the Yellow River Park pavilion at 3232 Juhan Rd SW\, Stone Mountain\, GA 30087\, but then most will be traveling offsite to reach their litter cleanup location. All teams will return to the pavilion at the end of the event for a lunch kindly provided by the Yellow River Water Trail Association. \n  \nFor more information and to register\, please follow this link: https://cerv.is/0024×5139 \n  \nAll Gwinnett County volunteers are required to agree and complete the WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE form. DESCRIPTION:Sat\, Nov 15th – Sun\, Nov 16th\, 2025\n12 PM – 5 PM\nSHIFTS\nShift 1\nSat\, Nov 15th\, 2025\n12 PM – 5 PM \nShift 2\nSun\, Nov 16th\, 2025\n12 PM – 5 PM \nLocation: Unearthing Farm & Market: 1534 Memorial Drive Southeast\, Atlanta\, GA \nPlease Register Here and let us know you are coming \n  \n\nAbout the event\n\nWith the recent soil testing at Unearthing Farm and market\, which has revealed elevated lead levels prompting them to pause many activities and programs at the farm. \nThis setback is significant\, but their mission to create healthy\, inclusive food access for Atlanta remains unwavering. To continue their work in community building and food distribution\, they had to explore potential remediation strategies. \nOne of those strategies is that Unearthing Farm is working towards total soil restoration\, requiring an excavation of the land. They are in the process of planning a two day event to salvage plants and trees that are essential to the farm’s mission. \nTogether they aim to cultivate a vibrate community green space through a hyper local farm and market. \n\n\n\nWhat will volunteers do?\n\nVolunteers will support the farm by supporting the salvaging of trees and plants before the excavation of the land begins. \nUnearthing Farm needs support with pruning\, trimming and repotting plants into their temporary home. A workshop will happen before the repotting begins to show volunteers the most supportive way to transition the plants and trees. \n\n\n\nWhat will volunteers need to bring or wear?\n\nPlease wear long sleeve\, pants and close toed shoes. PPE (masks\, booties and gloves) will be provided to everyone during this event and we asks that all volunteers utilizes what’s provided.
